Responsible gambling
The demos on this site cost nothing, but the same games played for money can cost a great deal. Gambling is for adults only (18+), and it should stay something you choose to spend on, like a night out, rather than a way to make money or win back losses.
What a demo can and cannot teach
A demo shows how a slot's features work. It does not improve your chances: each spin is decided at random, and the game's RTP is set by the version the casino runs, not by how you play. Anyone selling a "system" for slots is selling something that cannot work.
Signs that gambling is becoming a problem
- spending more time or money than you meant to, more than once
- playing to win back what you have lost
- borrowing, or using money meant for bills, to gamble
- hiding how much you gamble from people close to you
- feeling anxious or irritable when you try to cut down
- gambling to escape stress or low mood
One of these is reason enough to talk to someone. The services below are free and confidential.

Online casino games, slots included, are not legal to offer in Australia; ACMA lists them among illegal online gambling services (acma.gov.au). Sites that accept Australians for them anyway give none of the protections of a licensed service.

Practical limits that help
- Decide a spending limit before you start, and treat it as spent.
- Set deposit and time limits in your account at any casino you use, before you play.
- Take breaks: stop at a set time, not at a win or a loss.
- Block gambling sites on your devices if you want a firmer barrier; GamCare's site explains the options.
- Self-exclude through GAMSTOP in Great Britain or BetStop in Australia if you want to stop altogether.
